Do you allow returns?

Very few bridal resale shops allow returns due to dresses typically being sold "as is". Having experienced dress regret myself, and knowing how important it is to love your wedding dress, I want to do all I can to make sure you have the dress you love so here is my return policy:

1. I will accept returns that are postmarked within 4 days of dress delivery date or purchase date (for in person purchases).

2. Your return must be pre-authorized by emailing herecomesthebrideonabudget@gmail.com

3. You must pay for return shipping. Because of a variety of factors, this may be a different amount than what you paid when the dress was originally         shipped to you.

4. As long as the dress arrives back in the same condition as when it was originally shipped, your total purchase amount for the dress (minus any fees taken from PayPal or online purchasing platform during the initial sale and the initial shipping cost paid by you, the buyer) will be refunded within 14 days  (it may take longer to post to your account as I have no control over that) If the dress has been damaged and cannot be repaired your money will not be able to be refunded. ***Note- Since my business goal is to help brides on a budget, you may be able to re-sell the dress yourself for a profit. Remember that I research and price my dresses as low as possible and I would be happy to share the pricing I have found on other sites to give you an idea of what you could competitively list it for.

What happens if I have dress regret after the return window has passed?

I may be able to take your dress back on consignment (see consignments in FAQ's). There are also multiple ways to sell your wedding dress online- Marketplace, Poshmark, Stillwhite, Preownedweddingdresses.com, Queenly, Mercari, Ebay, Facebook dress resale pages.

Tips to avoid dress regret-

-Try on different styles in person so you know what looks good on you and what you want.

-It’s always better to get a bigger size and have altered down to fit. Most dresses can be easily altered down 2 or more sizes or up 1 size, but it’s always a good idea to show pictures to a local seamstress to get a quote on alterations before purchasing. Get multiple quotes to get the best deal. I am happy to send more pictures, video, or even FaceTime with you and your seamstress if that helps

-Once you find your dress, STOP LOOKING! You will constantly second guess yourself! You chose your dress for a reason and you will look beautiful on your wedding day! A reception dress is always an option as well! I did the same thing with a ballgown for my ceremony and a fitted dress for the reception. I have plenty of options at great prices for you to get two, or even three! :)

Do you offer Consignment Services?

Currently I am not taking any dresses on consignment but I do have plans to do so in the near future. To be considered for future consignment your dress must be within 7 years old and in good condition to be able to resell. Your dress must be in my possession to list for sale, and  you will be responsible for 50% of the shipping cost. You are able to choose the resale price of your dress, but because the business is all about helping out fellow brides on a budget, all consignment dresses must be priced below $500. When your dress is sold on consignment you will receive 80% of the sale amount and 20% will be retained by Here Comes The Bride On A Budget (this goes towards paying for online advertisements and promotion of your dress to be sold) You may list your dress on other resale pages, but you would be responsible for the shipping costs if the dress must be shipped back to you

What are the shipping fees?

A standard shipping fee of $25 or $30 will apply to each shipment based off of size and weight of dress. Because shipping costs are based off of weight and box measurements, larger ballgowns will generally have the Premium Dress shipping fee of $30 applied. Rush orders are available at additional shipping charges paid by the buyer by contacting Here Comes The Bride On A Budget through Facebook Messenger.

When will I recieve my dress?

Orders are typically  processed and shipped within 24-48 hours and cannot be modified or cancelled after the order is shipped. If you have questions or concerns about your order please refer to the Return and Refund Policy or contact Here Comes The Bride On A Budget through email or Facebook messenger (for fastest response). Orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS and you can expect to receive your dress within 3-7 business days.

Can you do custom orders?

All dresses on Available on Here Comes the Bride On A Budget are pre-owned or Sample sizes so we do not offer the option of custom orders. If you do not see the size or style you are looking for though, please do not hesitate to reach out via Facebook messenger or email as there may be inventory not yet listed on the website.

Will I need to have my dress cleaned, altered or repaired?

All dresses that you purchase from Here Comes The Bride On A Budget will be cleaned prior to being shipped to you. Keep in mind that most dresses available are pre-owned and may have stains (will be called out with pictures when noticeable during normal wedding wear) or flaws. I do my best to show pictures and describe any flaws in each product description. Please do not hesitate to reach out via Facebook messenger or email regarding the condition of any dress prior to purchase. Each dress will have measurements listed in the description and sizing information. It is always recommended to have your own measurements when ordering your wedding dress online as bridal sizes tend to run about two sizes smaller than "street" sizes and can also vary by designer. I am happy to send additonal pictures and videos and you are welcome to schedule a video chat (see Services page of website) to better see the dresses or invite an alterations specialist for consultation.

Do you offer layaway or payment plans?

Here Comes The Bride On A Budget currently offers the option of Afterpay and Paypal pay in 4 for qualifying customers (you must go through the required application and approval process- we do not make the final decision on checkout payment plans) If you wish to discuss alternate payment plans or putting down a deposit to hold a dress, please reach out via Facebook messenger or email to discuss possible options.
